Why should you travel more often?

“I would rather own little and see the world than own the world and see little of it.” Alexander Sattler. The beauty of life is that, it has a lot for you to unfold. You don’t know how much it has to offer to you. Even if you just sit in a park, and quietly look around yourself you would see a lot of new things. Travelling should not just be considered as a stress buster or a leisure activity, rather it should be taken as a necessity.

1.It develops a sense of individuality and freedom within yourself - when you slog for nine hours for five days a week and you start feeling like a corporate slave, shouldn’t you give yourself a break and experience freedom for yourself?  When you travel, it gives you a sense of individuality, you explore new things about yourself, that even you had not known. Travelling rejuvenates you and gives you more goals and gives you the time that your body had been asking from you.

2.You can try various cuisines - we all have a foodie inside us. A foodie that makes us go places to try different types of food. We all know that each place has a unique cuisine, even a town that might be 300 kilometers from your city would also have some unique dish to offer. What can be better than you having experiences worth lifetime and food worth fortune.

3.You get to learn different cultures and languages - When you travel you visit different places, it’s not just about travelling abroad. The census of India in 1961 identified around 1652 languages in India; imagine the diversity of the country we live in. When you travel you learn new languages and cultures, the lessons that you could have never learned in books.

4.Travelling gives you new hobbies for yourself - When you travel you discover the whole new you. When get the time to talk to your own self and speak within you, you realize that there are a lot other things that you could do. You discover your passions and new hobbies which give you utmost satisfaction.

5.You become very street smart - The best part about travelling is that, you become very aware of how to deal different things and situations. You become confident and you know how to tackle issues of your life.
If we go on enumerating that why should we travel more often, trust me the list would fall short. We do not need reasons to travel more often. Travelling not just only gives you an eternal peace, but it also grooms your overall personality.
Stay happy, take risks, and travel more!

Tips on travelling safe

Book Your Tour With Zocales
The mere idea of travelling, going for a vacation or adventure is way too exciting; it gives us an adrenaline rush. In this excitement we often tend to make certain mistakes. Travel is the best experience that someone can ever get. It is the best teacher and gives you memories and lessons that would last a lifetime. You can make the best of your travel by travelling safe and responsibly. Adventure gives you a lot of stories to tell, rather than a lot of stuff to show. Here are few tips which may help you in travelling safe and responsibly -

1. Always keep your luggage nearby and within your view - This is very important aspect of travelling safe and responsibly. People most often experience luggage loss on their travel, and then your dream vacation turns into a nightmare. This can be taken care of if you are vigilant about your luggage and belongings. Don’t let any other person handle your luggage other than the airport personnel or you yourself.

2. A first aid box should always accompany you - Yes, first aid box is made for immediate help on any medical emergency. While we travel or go for an adventure we might come across certain unforeseen medical emergencies, therefore keeping a first aid always with you is a must. Other than medicines for cuts and bruises also take medicines of the illnesses that you are aware of yourself.

3. Always keep some cash for emergency situation - We all know that with the advent of digitalization, we hardly carry cash and rely on cards, but while you travel, you may land up at some places which still today only work on cash, therefore keeping some cash for emergency situation is a smart and responsible idea.

4. Always keep your address private - while we travel, we all tend to become way too friendly. What is important over here to keep in mind that first judge then trust. Relying on people and making new friends is somewhat great, but what is important is to make an informed decision that the stranger is worth trusting or not.

5. Get travel insurance - Yes, you might wonder that why should I take a travel adventure? Well let’s face it, we at times invest a lot into our travels, and if God forbid any mishap occur then we would face major loss, so to be on a safe side and to travel responsibly, we must all get a travel insurance done.

It is often said thatadventure comes to you, when you lose yourself to the nature. That is what you need to do while you travel.
Explore the wanderlust gene in you, travel more, travel safe!

What is life, but a grand adventure!

What is life, but a grand adventure!

The Kerala tourism tagline, very truly says that, “when the heaven’s open up, it is easy to lose yourself.” The nature around us has so many beautiful and amazing things and experiences to offer to us and what are we stuck at? We are stuck at our nine to five jobs, and we call celebration t our weekends where we g to clubs, listen to deafening music and believing that we have forgotten ourselves for a while.

Well that is not what life is all about. Life says take a break sometimes, look around you, and you would be amazed to see what all can nature and life actually offer you. We all set certain goals and plans for our lives, as mentioned in a Hindi movie, “work hard till 40, and plan your vacations post that.” The very movie had a beautiful reply too, “who knows that you are actually going to live till forty?” we are nowhere demoralizing you about that plans you made, but let us face It.; life is too fleeting and changeable to be taken for granted! And one should definitely not.

Work hard, rather work very hard but in a while give yourself a break. Plan an adventure travel and you would see that you would have rejuvenated yourself; you will be more focused and will have more willingness towards your work and relationships.

Travel and adventure are important because they make you meet the side you that you had never seen. It makes you experience the feeling that is priceless. Each of us have different travel agendas, some like spending all on the trip that they are going to take, while the others believe in saving and taking multiple trips. Whatever your travel agenda be, the most important thing is “TRAVEL.” Live a life that has so many adventurous stories to tell. Don’t wait for the future, because what you have planned might never come.

So take trips, risks and do a lot of adventure. Make sure that when you die, you die with “million dollar memories,” rather than “million dollars.”
